Last night it started raining and it continued raining for hours and hours. It might be raining again out there even as I write this. The rain awakened another part of the garden, our ephemeral stream and waterfall. This intermittent waterway fills the backyard with a roaring beyond belief, but only a couple times a year when there is a big rain. Although you can hear it, you cannot see it from the house or even from anywhere in the garden unless you climb right up to it. As much as I would have liked to work in the garden today, I was happy that we were kept inside by the rain because this allowed me to put a first coat of paint in the living room before Liam arose at 2 to help me put on a second coat. While he was finishing the walls, I went outside and took this photo. Now for the task of putting the living room back together.
I love it when a plan comes together. You got your painting done and you got a beautiful photo in the process. I love the stream peeking through all the spring greenery
