Perambulatory 4

This early morning stroll did produce glorious sunrise pictures. And we photograhped glorious beach art consisting of sticks, shells and trash tied together We even found an entire grove of dead trees (the encroaching sea will do that) festooned with shells. And birds working in pools of sunrise. And crabs. And a cartwheeling girl. We saw plenty of sights, all awesome and all well documented on FB by Joe, who is rapidly burgeoning as the family's social media mogul. But I'm choosing this picture because the sun had not yet risen and I was still grumpily reflecting on the sad fact that no way on earth would I have been out there had I not been covered from head to toe in poisonous chemicals designed to keep the vicious swarms of mosquitos at bay. Ugh, I thought, I could be in bed sleeping instead of tromping out here in the dark, a purveyor of the world's next silent spring.
Fabulous looking scene, dramatic sky. In my eyes this is the best time of day!

This is rather special Françoise; the soft dawn light and the anonymous silhouettes combine to lend an enchanted air to the image.
