As I walked back to the house after replenishing the bird bath in the garden my eye was caught by a strange pattern on one of the nasturtium leaves. A close inspection revealed they were caterpillars and an even closer look through a macro lens revealed the different colours and even two of them contributing to the eaten-away contours of the leaves.
