Today we visited Conisbrough to see old friends and this is St Peter’s church where I served thirty years ago as a curate and then assistant Vicar for eight years. What memories of such an amazing time when God moved and the church grew to hundreds!
Wow, George! What an amazing scene. The church is beautiful. And how awesome to have been a vital part of God's work there!! I would love to be able to "sit and chat" with you about God's work there!
Wow so interesting. My great great grandparents were married in St Peter's Church, Conisbrough. He worked at Denaby Main as a miner, moving there from Derbyshire.
I was born not far away at the Montagu Hospital, Mexborough where my Mum was a nurse.
