Peony Bud Pattern

We're still waiting for spring to progress and everything to burst into bloom but, the tree peony buds are out there in great abundance, and plumping up nicely. They're not as impressive as flowers but the green and wine coloured foliage is quite pretty in a softer, gentler, way.
