My sister-in-law passed away this morning. It was a sad day for our family. I spent some time sitting outside in the beautiful sunshine, thinking about her. The purple martins were entertaining me with their aerial acrobatics and this male posed long enough for me to get several shots.
Oh, so sorry to hear of your loss Gayle. Nothing better than sitting watching the birds though to reflect and take stock of all that's happened. Lovely image.
