I didn't have a lot of time to take photos today because we were busy cleaning out our storage shed and that turned into an all-day job. We did enjoy an early evening walk with friends along the lake so I was able to take some photos during our walk. Today ended up being one of those off days when I didn't take many photos and I wasn't very happy with the ones I did take. Even though I know that's going to happen every now and then, I still feel disappointed .
Gayle I know exactly how you feel (at least I think so!). It is actually really hard to take photos whilst walking out with friends. You were probably being polite to your friends and talking to them and unable to divert and stop to find the right photo. Not that there is anything wrong with this at all - nice to have the birds in the shot.
I know how crazy the days can get, I had one yesterday and after I got my first two shots my battery died only camera lol you sure know how to end a day with the lovely scene. I should think about ending my crazy days with a nice walk some place beautiful!
