PeeGee Hydrangea Macro by gaylewood

PeeGee Hydrangea Macro

We have a peegee hydrangea shrub growing in our yard...the blooms are somewhat cone-shaped rather than ball-shaped. I didn't realize the shrub was a type of hydrangea until just recently because of the different flower clusters. It blooms from late summer through early fall, which is quite nice. It has been awhile since I worked with my macro lens so I decided to go with a macro shot today.
So delicately beautiful
