The entire family came by to welcome me home. Arrived back in San Antonio last week after a wonderful five months in Canada. I thoroughly enjoy the time I spend up north but it is always nice to get back home.
@milaniet Thank you so much, Milanie! There's a buck making appearances and I'm going to try hard to get some shots of him . . . it's so difficult because he rarely stands still for more than a couple of seconds. :-)

Nice welcome home greeters and lovely capture of them - the family of deer that come into our yard do not stand still very long so it is hard to get a nice group picture.
@Weezilou Thank you so much, Louise! As you know, soooo much to do when you first arrive back. Plus, I'm on my own for a couple of weeks...my husband is in Toronto spending some time with his brother whose wife passed away in June. This little deer family definitely did some growing while I was gone. There's a buck running around, strutting his stuff...I absolutely MUST get a shot of him. :-)
@jo38 Thanks so much, Jo! They were wondering if it was safe to come closer and try out the bird seed...they decided against it and they all scattered just seconds after I took a couple of shots. :-)
