I'm sorry Gayle but I cant help asking - are these actually sugar coated salted pretzels one of which you have unpicked, or have you covered them with something. I just cant help thinking about you putting this whole scene together and wondering how it is done. I expect creating these wonderful scenes could become a little addictive.
Anyway - cool set you have there.
@helenhall Thanks for commenting, Helen! These are regular salted pretzels and yogurt-covered pretzels...I picked off some of the yogurt covering on the pretzel they’re working on. Yes, it seems the more of these little people scenes I create, the more addictive they become. :-)
Good for them! Looks like they're making delicious yogurt covered pretzels!
(I did read your explanation and am very impressed how you picked some off and put this whole thing together to tell a story!)
My goodness!! This is so creative!! Love your attention to detail and meticulous they are. Also like how they are the pretzels that are done on the right.
@merrelyn Hi, Merrelyn! Thanks so much for your comment and fav! I can understand your confusion because that’s exactly how I felt before I purchased my sets. I couldn’t find any sets that I wanted at the hobby shops here in San Antonio so I ended up purchasing mine from Amazon. The figures in this photo are “HO” scale. I initially purchased two sets, one “HO” scale and one “O” scale because I wanted to compare the sizes and decide which size I liked best. The “O” scale figures are larger than “HO” figures, about twice the size, maybe a bit larger even than that. I prefer the “HO” scale figures. I’ve purchased both Bachmann and Preiser brand...happy with both brands, Preiser figures come in a nice, little plastic storage box which I like a lot. I’m thoroughly enjoying these “little people” scenes! They’re a lot of fun! It might sound funny and a bit strange but for Valentine’s Day my husband gave me six “little people” sets . . . I was absolutely thrilled! :-)
@365karly1@tonygig@henrir@marcy0414@taffy@helenhall Thank you all very much for your thoughtful congratulatory comments on my "Pretzel Crew" photo! I have so much fun coming up with ideas for these "little people" photos and then even more fun setting up the shot. :-)
