Old Barn Bench by glimpses

Old Barn Bench

This bench, with all its cobwebs, and layers of dust and grit looked as if it hadn't been sat on for a very long while. I wondered how long that rusty horseshoe has been laying there.
This is a lovely photo Les and I love the sepia effect.

Beautiful and nicely done. The old bench and rusted horseshoe does suggest there is a bigger story and mystery to the scene.

Nice perspective, cropping and tones.

@nicolecampbell Hi Nicole, and lots of thanks. I took pictures of this old bench in sepia, B&W, and color, (OMG - that's one of the things I LOVE about a digital camera!) and from lots of differnet vantage points. From this angle, I liked the sepia best. Be well, Les

@denisedaly Thank you Denise, but ah, no cropping here! I took lots of shots from lots of angles and distances - in B&W, sepia , and color; I was bound to get one right! LOL Thanks, and be well, Les

@mwarren365 Lots of thanks, Mike - and ohhh, you are so clever. In a chatting with the 80 year old matron of this small farm, I DID hear a story; and lots of others too. It was a grand visit, and adventurous photo shoot. I shall return; for more photos, and the stories that go with them. (Shirley, the owner moved onto the farm as a 16 year old bride.) Be well, Les
