(Garden SOOC of a sunlit Chrysanthemum in macro)
Greetings! I'm from Connecticut (USA) Photography is one of my lifelong passions (others including gardening, woodworking, history, and being a part...
This is stunning Les. I am assuming a 'mum' is a chrysanthemum. We don't call them 'mum' in Australia. These flowers are very popular here for Mother's Day as they normally flower in May.
@nicolecampbell Lots of thanks Nicole.......and I shall name it properly since you just made me realize that to half the world, "Mum" is someone who gets a Mother's Day card! :-D Here in the States, these flowers bloom in very late summer until a killing frost, and come is wonderful colors. And, if you care for them properly, they will grow back where you planted them, as they are perennials. Take care, Lesx
@nicolecampbell No worries, Nicole. x It's better that I changed it; I was just too lazy to get out the dictionary because I couldn't remember how to spell it!! HUGE LOL!!! See ya, Les x
@nicolecampbell Oh, this is waaay too funny! I am smiling from ear to ear :-D What a sensational way to begin my day. Thanks for the big belly laugh Nicole.
(Ahem, while we are on the subject of spelling: the correct version of you word is - spelled - not "spelt". Not "learnt" Not "spilt" Eeek gads! You Aussies need to learn how spelll.) Oh so laughing right now! Les x
