This is my first flame picture, and it was fun to try something new. My "Yellow2" appeared in the reflection; I placed the candle in front of a window. How I got 2 recflections, I can't rightly say.
(Note: I gave a small crop to this photo.)

@brumbe Ooooh, you are probably right! The storm window is several inches further away from the inside window; 2 windows, right?? Thanks Paula, and have a swell weekend, Les
Love the double flame reflection. Great effect . . even if it is from the storm window. I haven't tried one of these yet. I may burn the house down trying. lol Wonderful theme photo.
@karenann Ha ha Ha ! You are too funny. :-D Normally I'd say that you should never play with fire. But in our case, the exception rules; just have something at the ready to douse any errant flames. :-D And thanks a lot for your comment......Take good care, Les x
@nicolecampbell Hi Nic, and many thanks. It was fun and I highly recommend playing around with it. (When I get a tripod instead of a massive stack of books to steady the camera, I'll be able to do LOTS more.) Water drops are on my "list." :-D Very nice to hear from you, Les x
@purplewitch Hello dingbat - Thanks a lot, glad you like it. I want to try more of this kind of stuff, but I really need a tripod. ta ta for now,
les xx
@titam I love your comment; thank you so much for pointing that out to me; I agree with you. I was so focused on "working", that its essence escaped my attention. Happy weekend, Les
