Ever Green

Oh, but it was cold (14F, -10C) when I jumped out of my car to grab a quick photo. But this was not what I intended to shoot. Head down against a biting wind, I saw this, and mareveled at it. There was no green ANYwhere - except for this. How fantastic is that!
(This macro SOOC was taken resting my camera right ON the frosty tangle of dried grasses.)
