I wanted to do something different with Pussywillows, so I switched to manual focus and shot them out of focus. I'm not too pleased; they just look like blobs. What do you think??

You have captured the light nicely and the branch is in focus but it kind of hurts my eyes looking at the buds. I think the buds would have looked nicer in focus, especially as the light is highlighting them.
@nicolecampbell Oh, thanks so much Nic. I agree, the buds are glaringingly bright. I was going for something unique, sort of abstract. But I don't think this is it. I have other shots in various stages of focus; maybe I'll give them a second look. :-)) Have a gentle evening, Les x
