Antique Fire Engine Lantern by glimpses

Antique Fire Engine Lantern

A close-up of a lantern hanging on the side of a fire engine built in 1889. The glass globe is red, and the actual age of the lantern is not known. (I LOVE shooting in sepia and B&W; details seem more prominent. I think I'll put more focus on using both, and do some experimenting. :))
How nice that this has been saved all that time - love it in the sepia. I do a lot of b&w but forget about the sepia look.

I love sepia too, especially when the subject is right for it. I think this is the right subject. Nicely done :)

Lovely shot, the sepia works so well. I have a mining lantern that belonged to my great great grandfather.
