Although the butterfly bush is fading apparently there is still enough nectar to attract the butterflies!

We trimmed our bush down so I do not expect to see any butterflies till Spring. this one is gorgeous

Is that a Red Admiral? They are stunning. And I can SMELL that buddeliea bush! Or however you spell it. Cause I have one at the lake in the front yard now...I planted it I guess after you had left that summer.

Stunning colors and clarity and composition! We are at 24 degrees with big winds, so the "feels like" temp is 10 degrees! Brrrrr...
