Not a great picture but OK enough since it was taken over 60 years ago. The baby is me and that is my mother holding me. I lost her a little over a year ago and am really missing her today but so grateful for all she taught me and gave me that made me a mom to wonderful children who are also great mothers and fathers. I can't think of a better way to honor her memory. Thanks mom.
Great way to honour her memory Katy! She is beautiful. I know I don't know you very well but you are always so kind to me and others on here that I think your character and personality are a great tribute to her in itself.

Wonderful tribute to your mother on Mother's Day. I don't know you in person, but it seems to me that you honor her every day with your thoughtfulness and creativity, as well as through your children and grandchildren. A great legacy!

A wonderful treasure . I am still blessed to have my mom who turned 85 recently and she still in very go health. I treasure each day I have with her and am thankful she is only a 45 minute drive away. It must have been a very hard Mother's Day for you . I hope you were able to keep busy with the family Sunday.
