I used to have a wonderful camellia hedge along one side of our fence, unfortunately most of the plants died last year. They made such a pretty show. Once we finish the garage extension and re-landscaping the backyard I will find something else to plant

I really appreciate it @nicolecampbell I bet it was gorgeous. This was by our back porch when we bought the house. Over the years I have cut off all the low branches so it is more a tree than a bush. In addition to that there was a portion that had sprouted roots and I transplanted that in another part of the yard. It is also now becoming a tree and give such beautiful flowers in our winter time.
@eudora you are too kind. This was not set up this is just something I saw so I decided to shoot it. There really were far better looking camellias than this one but it is what it is
