The light and shadows in this are wonderful, as is the diagonal composition. Ivy will always win over anything inanimate… active aggression is required to overcome it!
@thewatersphotos i get that feeling Gary @shutterbug49 I hadn't really noticed the diagonal until you mentioned it Debbie thanks @Dawn I am glad you think so Dawn @kjarn LoL good to know you agree @maggiemae that would be me. I used to love it once @ludwigsdiana Sadly it does Diana and I haven't had the energy to deal with it this year but will have to do something soon. thanks @30pics4jackiesdiamond LOL I know what you mean. Why is it the things we don't want to grow will thrive on neglect?! @wakelys I was wondering what that noise was! @rensala oh, Renee that is so nice of you thanks @marilyn I am so glad you like it. Unfortunately l know what needs doing but can't get motivated to do it
Ahh, I have the same situation in the back of our yard. I planted 1 ivy plant many, many years ago and it has taken over. I thought it would cover some areas quickly but soon found out that rats love to hide in ivy.....Not fun....Now, I try to pull it out wherever I see it....
Somehow I missed this one. I like the thought that perhaps gardening is over for the season. Garden - 0 Ivy - 1 Nice colors and weathered wood and metal.
@madamelucy Oh! I did not know that about the rats. I may have to investigate that a little further. It definitely does take over if left to itself @randystreat That sounds like a great idea but I feel like I still need to get out there and do some work. Thanks Kathy
