I think you may be right

Ivy wins hands down if you don't get on to it. Some people like it until they find that it does have harmful effects!

What a great find and shot, I hope it does not belong to you ;-)

Even I can't kill ivy by accident đŸ˜‚ so this barrow is doomed!!

I can hear shrieks of HELP coming from the wheelbarrow.

Nice composition and great rust shot

The light and shadows in this are wonderful, as is the diagonal composition. Ivy will always win over anything inanimate… active aggression is required to overcome it!

@thewatersphotos i get that feeling Gary
@shutterbug49 I hadn't really noticed the diagonal until you mentioned it Debbie thanks
@Dawn I am glad you think so Dawn
@kjarn LoL good to know you agree
@maggiemae that would be me. I used to love it once
@ludwigsdiana Sadly it does Diana and I haven't had the energy to deal with it this year but will have to do something soon. thanks
@30pics4jackiesdiamond LOL I know what you mean. Why is it the things we don't want to grow will thrive on neglect?!
@wakelys I was wondering what that noise was!
@rensala oh, Renee that is so nice of you thanks
@marilyn I am so glad you like it. Unfortunately l know what needs doing but can't get motivated to do it

Ahh, I have the same situation in the back of our yard. I planted 1 ivy plant many, many years ago and it has taken over. I thought it would cover some areas quickly but soon found out that rats love to hide in ivy.....Not fun....Now, I try to pull it out wherever I see it....

Somehow I missed this one. I like the thought that perhaps gardening is over for the season. Garden - 0 Ivy - 1 Nice colors and weathered wood and metal.

@madamelucy Oh! I did not know that about the rats. I may have to investigate that a little further. It definitely does take over if left to itself
@randystreat That sounds like a great idea but I feel like I still need to get out there and do some work. Thanks Kathy
