A Buff Banded Rail ?

We were enjoying a picnic at Alexander Headlands when this lovely bird strolled by. He wasn't too fazed by us & we shot some good photos.

My Bird Book tells me it is a Buff Banded Rail, common to water & scrubby bush areas. he was really beautiful.
