Driving in the country with a friend, we called in to see one of her friends & found this old trailer filled with this gorgeous Kale. Trailer unusable so, what better than to grow colorful plants...Edible kale is bred for taste. Ornamental kale has been cultivated primarily for showy foliage, so chefs tend to use it as decoration in a dish than an ingredient. Ornamental kales are actually edible, but they tend to taste a bit less pleasant with a more bitter tone than kales cultivated to eat.
