The Red-legged pademelon is a medium-sized, short-tailed, grey-brown wallaby that can be up to 53 cm long. It is generally pale grey to white being largely restricted to rainforests and adjacent wet sclerophyll
forests.a pale cheek stripe and a faint horizontal hip stripe. Some individuals have a broad indistinct dark dorsal stripe that runs from the head to the middle of the back. Its tail length is shorter than its body length.

Found in the wet forests of eastern Australia & New Guinea, this colourful bouncer has a short, thick tail,& stands at about 2 ½ feet tall. Its primary food is fallen leaves, but they also feed on fruit, berries, tree bark & cicadas.
