This variety of Ananas is an interesting and fun plant that grows an ornamental miniaturized pineapple on a thick stalk from its centre.
The fruit is inedible and only grows to around ten centimeters, but it adds a bit of tropical charm to your garden. Ananas are a plant in the Bromeliad family with long, strappy leaves that have finely serrated edges.
Walking with a friend we had to admire this large display.
