Male Australasian Fig Bird ~

My best capture, at Airlie Beach very high up in a tree.... cropped rather severely , but, I so wanted this bird before I left to come home...

Never heard of this bird - might be Australasian but never came to NZ Very beautiful!

wow I don't know this bird, that eye with the red is wonderful. getting photos high up in a tree is difficult, I can relate .... :)
