So they only have 2 claws - perhaps not -the third might be unseen. They are a big bird with a small head - good light for this one!

the main reason apparently for birds like pigeons to very often lose toes is that they end up using human hair, twine and fibres to build their nests and these wrap around their toes, constricting them until they fall off.

@maggiemae @koalagardens I don't know if this pigeon has lost its claws. Mostly they lose all and the stump remains. I gave this title because of the shadow of two claws.
