If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!! - The snow that is....
Today was lovely and well above freezing so the whole clan decided to go out and use all this blessed snow to our advantage and as I'm sure God intended..... For SLEDDING!! This is my one action shot for the day. That is my husband hurtling towards me after I finished a run. Luckily his sledding skills are better than mine and he managed to stop before impact. I can't say the same for myself. Later on in the day, I tried to stop before hitting my oldest on his stalled toboggan and managed to wipe out so spectacularly that I flung the sled about fifteen feet in the air and landed face first in the snow. (Although I DID manage to avoid impact -- with him anyway...) Do you know how hard it is to get up off the side of a hill when you are laughing so hard you are crying?!! So far it seems as if I escaped any legitimate injury but I get the distinct feeling I am going to be feeling it in the morning... Still fabulous fun though!
