Breaking the tension
It is strange how the most unexpected shots sometimes lend themselves to black and white. At least I think this one does. Of all the shots I took, including the bright yellow flowering lilies, I preferred the simple single leaf.

You all said some very nice things about my single leaf. I am glad I chose this one for the day. For those seeing the green - when I take the colour out of a photo, I rarely do it completely but slide the scale until I feel that I am happy with the effect. So there probably is some green in there!
