Which one is mine? by helenhall

Which one is mine?

Yesterday was a full day celebrating my youngest's graduation from Warwick University. It was also a reminder of why I would hate to be a wedding or portrait photographer! The official photographer took 30 mins in the blazing heat to line up the hats in the air shot. I am amazed that no one feinted!

View this on black.

Through the day the light was harsh, my subjects were un co-operative and I am not sure that I shall enjoy taking photographs again for a few days to come!
Ohhh! This occasion is so special! You did a great job. I wouldn't be able to be so patience!

Oh no, less than optimal condition to take photos... however this is such a great shot, and of course it was a special occasion for you! And your tag hahaha it is running off my screen! :)

I really like this shot: the gradation from TR to BL - like osmosis or seed dispersal. Fave

A great record of a very memorable day. I wouldn't fancy being the official photographer either for an event like this or for a wedding. It would be like herding cats to get them all together.

What an exciting day for you all. Great shot to record the moment but I hope they all got the right mortar boards back.

@mariapachon @janemartin @taffy @kerosene @ethelperry @helenm2016 @helenm2016 @onewing @onewing @gaylewood well thank you all for your very generous comments and engagement with the occasion. I feel a bit bad that I didn't post a photo with my son actually in it, but they are all over facebook - including the one with the hats in the air. I chose this one because it was my favourite composition.

You have captured one of those moments in time, and a memory to enjoy over the years! Congratulations to your daughter!
