A splash of claret in Time gardens

My birthday seemed to be the appropriate day to have a go at the wine and time theme.

I spotted the light through these leaves in the local park last week in a small planted area which is called Time Gardens. I went back today to take this shot and whilst the sun failed to perform for me today (I also wanted to find shadows to use as framing) at least it has got this idea out of my system!

Happy Birthday, No doubt the wine was shared before you took the shot. Interesting leaves. As you mention, the lack of sun changes the look of thongs. I would enjoy seeing these leaves backlit.
