We are away for a couple of weeks from Monday morning and so it was left to my son to order in the food he would require whilst fending for himself. This morning I took delivery of his order whilst he was at the gym. This afternoon, I found myself trecking to the supermarket in order to buy milk, and something to cook for us together tomorrow since both these things had been overlooked.
I was happy to do so because I needed to hunt down a picture for the day. I was pondering a weekend of black and white to clear the palette ready for our new adventure. Nothing was attracting my attention other than the looming dark clouds, and sure enough the rain started to fall. The rainbow took me by surprise, a small fragment of the arc just peeping out between the trees. I thought the colours were so clearly lined up to match the month view for March which I am posting in my other album, that I had to abandon my black and white plan. It was too wet to continue the search anyway.
Rainbows here today and my goodness, some heavy April showers already. It seems apt that at the end of the challenge you capture a rainbow and this is a stunner.
This is a beautifully subtle rainbow sky Helen, just lovely! I've been behind but at your text I thought to look at your March calendar and I can't believe you've created such a beautiful monthly view! It's a difficult thing to do I think...
