Apples

Carrying on with my search for suitable material in the holiday haul to fit the One Week only challenge. Today's challenge was food and so I was glad I had taken the opportunity to catch these apples lined up along the porch fencing at the house where we were staying in Cape Cod.

My only other choice was pumpkins, and I think we are beyond the season for those.

But perhaps pumpkin pie is on the menu for tomorrow for my American friends? Whatever the menu, I do wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving celebration tomorrow.

I like this a lot -- great closeup. I might have cropped out the fence post to focus totally on the apples, for what it's worth (and apologies if you'd prefer not to have suggestions like this).
