At the time that I first announced my intention to take a walk, there was a hiatus following an intense snow flurry and a thin layer of snow had settled. I had hopes of catching snowflakes resting daintily on one of the early spring blooms, or perhaps a little robin perched on a snowy branch.
At the time in which the walk was taken, there remained little trace of the aforementioned snow, other than some slippery slimy slush, and the odd lump of ice. An almost unperceivable drizzle, became persistent rain. Colour was lacking.
Taken, on manual, but with no regard or thought for settings other than letting in enough light somehow, and more regard for keeping rain from the lens. Shown fully saturated.
A great image that sums up our dreary day, I too felt for sure we were going to be in for a lovely snowy scene, only to then see it disappear in the rain.
You all brightened up my dull day - sorry it has taken me so long to say so!
