Bluebell Study 4

I took so many bluebell pictures yesterday that I needed a break today. I ended up processing quite a few because I couldn't choose which to work on.

This one was taken in a church yard I visited in my lunch break on Tuesday. I think I have a hybrid here, because these have some of the characteristics of our native bluebells.

Thank you for those who are finding time to look and comment on my bluebell series. I am going to keep trying, but am happy enough with the overall look of this one to tag it for the wild card in my 52 week project.

Wildcard: Photographer's Choice
Capture an image on your terms; who, what, where, when, why, how … it's all up to you. Caveat: You must tell us your intent.

My intent was stated at the beginning of the week. I have taken a subject that I have repeatedly found very difficult to represent at its best, and resolved to keep trying until I have found a style, technique and composition that works for me.
ooh only just caught up with your bluebell series. they are wonderful. i love yesterday's with the added extra of raindrops, but i think this is my favourite. such detail and clarity in the foreground petals, and yet an overall gentle impression of these dainty beauties
