I finally got my trip to the blue bell woods early on Friday morning as the sun was shining and the birds singing. There could have been no better way to start the bank holiday weekend. I had just half an hour to try and capture the essence of the place.
I remain convinced that these delightful countryside flowers are an experience to be enjoyed rather than just a picture to be taken.
Im tagging this one for my wild card photographers choice - in addition to Thursdays. You can see that the native bluebells are longer and thinner in the flower than the spanish import which I have been posting earlier on in the week.
Beautifully captured! I so often find when I'm out taking photos that a picture of the experience just doesn't capture the true essence of the actual experience. :-)
