View from the village of Porthdinllaen, Morfa Nefyn
We were hoodwinked into paying excessively for parking, and then had to walk a long route across a golf course to get to the beach which wasn't quite as we remembered it. The weather certainly lived up to our memories of childhood holidays though.
Here we sat and clasped coffee cups amidst the cluster of holiday makers at Ty Coch Inn. The village itself sits upon the beach with vehicular access only for residents.
There were no such luxuries as wet suits in our youth - the water was braved in our bikinis and trunks. At this beach though, and on this day, we elected to stay out of the water altogether.
In spite of the chilly looking weather, the activity on the beach is fun to look at- and the little buoys add nice pops of color. Glad you enjoyed your memories and your holiday.
