I'm struggling with the on-line welsh/English dictionary. I though a Moel was a hill and that I would be able to find the plural. These certainly fit the descriptor of 'bare, treeless, mountain or hill' ,but there are many, not one. Anyone know what the word for many moel might be?
So, my sister and I took a hike on the Saturday night, up the hill from where we were staying, to Yr Eifl, whereupon we were treated with stunning views and the coast at various points on three sides, and a really lovely sunset. The menfolk, on the other hand, were at the local community pub, watching some important game of football. I know who got the best deal there!
The sky was not rewarding here, but I do like the way the dry stone wall appears to attempt to mirror the hills beyond in its height variation.
Were you thinking of a Moel hill?.... they look a bit big to be moel hills! 😁🤣 but seriously, it's a beautiful scene. I love the little isolated cottage. Very idyllic.
