As I wandered around the supermarket this morning, collecting provisions for the week, I was acutely aware that the fruit and vegetables were taking about two thirds of my trolley. I must be succeeding in my objective to create more meals that are vegetable based.
Not only do 5 portions a day keep you healthy, (or so we are led to believe) but when it's pouring with rain and blowing a gale outside, and the 365 flashofred textures theme still beckons, those vegetables appear to provide the necessary texture.
I actually rather liked an even closer shot of the savoy cabbage, but it didn't translate well to black and white. As my other album has been somewhat neglected of late, I thought Id pop it over there. https://365project.org/helenhall/365-extras/2019-02-08
well yes indeed wonderful textures in b&w! we are also eating less meat these days - and shall remember to think of the veg as interesting texture fodder :)
i've been wracking my brain (yes i do have a bit) as to how i can artfully shoot my little cabbage like yours. i'm still stumped for ideas. argh! you composed this well. aces!
Clever shot, I hadn't even thought of vegetables.
It must be an age thing, we too are eating more vegetables and less meat (especially processed meat).
Two-thirds by volume of fruit and veg is not unreasonable! My diet has been such for about 30 years and I'm still standing! Anyway the b&w works fine with this cabbage so why not the others?
