Happy Landing by helenhall

Happy Landing

West Bank in the spring time - the prettiness of the countryside, the fruits and flowers and butterflies … but there is sadness in everything too. I hope the bees and the birds and the butterflies are happy - they can come and go as they please.
Perfect photo - misty look at this most beautiful butterfly!
ps - the birds and the bees are never sad'

fantastic capture - and pondering on the situation - is it a painted lady?

This is a lovely capture! I think the wildlife is happy because it can only be what it is. We humans are the ones who agonise over what we are or should be . . .

@shannejw it does look like the Painted Lady. Interestingly I just found an article sighting millions of painted lady butterflies passing through Israel at this time of year - in migration.

That's why I wondered - I thought it looked like a painted lady - but wasn't sure if they could be seen in Israel
