Uninspired and not very engaged just now, but I don't really want to let the project die if I can help it. So I am going to post what I can, to keep myself in the loop. Another long gap, means it may be a while before I get around to catching up with you.
At Dad's over the weekend - this was the view from an upstairs bedroom window.
That is just a stunning image. It will be fine even if you can just give us a wonderful image like this every now and again - it would be sad if you leave 365 altogether. :)
This is a best shot. Don’ Let us please! Just post from time to time, when you can. We would miss you. I just hope nothing too serious is taking priority, as you say. Btw the photos a Fav!
Nice rays coming through the clouds. I hear you about keeping up with 365. I decided over a year ago that I would post around 8 times per month. It has worked for me. When I post, thats when I comment on other photos and I don’t comment on everything. I also only post when I feel like I have something worth posting. This has freed up time for me to learn other things about photography - like PS. I no longer feel as lost when I go there.
love the mistiness above that tree, just spilling out of the hole in the sky. gorgeous use of light. i have missed you, and was hoping all was well. do hope you will stick around, in whatever capacity works for you! i much enjoy your images, and your thoughtful responses to others'
I think this is beautiful - I have missed you, but this image should certainly encourage you to keep going - I always value your comments and suggestions to me. However, I understand much too well how things and photo mojo can get. Just stop in when you can.
This dramatic image is so powerful and thought-provoking...the play of light and dark...wow! Beautiful capture! I always look forward to your commentaries, but this one...oh, no! I’m sorry that things aren’t going as you’d hoped, but I’m so glad you’re not totally giving up 365 as you are a bright spot here! Your beautiful, creative images; inspiring eye; interesting, well-written commentaries; thoughtful comments; kindness...I could go on and on about the positive light you shine. I’m so happy to have met you on 365, and I wish you all good things here and beyond. I’ll follow along as your journey continues...however it continues!
@caterina thank you for your lovely comment and concerns. I just need to be spending less time sitting in front of a computer. I'm going to have a go at the SOOC challenge and will continue to contribute as much as I can. If I can organise myself properly, I may not be disappearing at all!
@maggiemae thank you for such a reminder. It is indeed a pleasure - but unfortunately life throws other things at us and it would be irresponsible not to give them the attention they deserve too. I will find a balance.
@kjarn thank you Kathy for your comments. I don't often get to look at your project and so appreciate your feedback all the more. Sorry I am so bad at acknowledging this.
@summerfield thanks Vikki. It is kind of nice to know someone is checking up on me! Ill be here - I enjoy it too much. I just need to keep room for the other things too. I love your interpretation of the image and am very happy to receive the blessings!
@ludwigsdiana thanks Diana. It is a view I love - being the one from my bedroom in my childhood days. The village gets in the way and isn't too pretty, but the view across the Cheshire plain is special.
@samae Sarah, thanks for your lovely comment and yes I will be around whenever I can. It is addictive (hence the problem). Every now and then, I have to take a break just to prove I can.
@janetb such kind and generous words - I so wish I were all those things! But thank you. You know I enjoy your project too, and I will allow myself measured time to keep going as much as I can.
The clouds put on a good show for you in an effort to keep you on 365! I understand how you feel and I'll keep my fingers crossed in the hope it might help you hang on! Fav
the clouds are rather ominous but i like the rays, it's like a blessing is being bestowed on you. aces!
