I am spending one week in three with Dad at the moment and it really is a privelege to be able to share these days with him.
There are so many reasons why Dad deserves to enjoy these latter days of his life and despite his health issues, he says he is doing so.
Today his online bridge match was cancelled at the last moment, and so we quickly threw the wheelchair in the car, booked an entry slot at Tatten Park Gardens and took advantage of the late afternoon sun.
Pushing a wheelchair round the gardens in a one hour window so as to get round in time before the tea shop closes at the end of the day, is not in the least condusive to photography but I was glad of the opportunity to snatch this shot.
The forecast suggests that it will now rain non-stop for the next five days.
Although my dad slept for most of it, I'm glad I was able to spend his final week on earth with him so I know how meaningful this is to you. The picture will be a treasure too- nice shot!
But a wonderful place to spend precious time together, enjoying yourselves.
