I stopped at the gate for a hand held night shot, capturing the mist. I found a setting on my camera that seemed appropriate and had no idea that it was going to take 40 seconds before the shot was finished. In fact, I thought my camera was only capable of a 4 second exposure.
I rather liked the resultant blur of the early morning landscape
Whoo! I wonder how you got this 40sec setting. My camera seems limited but there is one function where you press the button to start and press it again to finish! Not game to try it without a tripod.
