I am posting another from yesterday at the floral tributes at Green Park in London. I was trying to capture something of the overall scene rather than just the flowers, but it was difficult to get an image which didn't look too busy and frankly, unattractive.
Flowers were arranged in groups around the bases of trees, and then in a trail weaving back and forth through the park and people were being asked to remove the non-biodegradeable wrapping. There were decorations in the trees, and some creative features. Whether spontaneous, or staged in advance, it was difficult to tell. Thousands of people were weaving in and around the groups of flowers and trees, respectfully observing and laying their own contributions.
I have picked this one to illustrate a flavour of the scene.
