The island is full of white sandy beaches and this one, next to the Barra airfield is no exception. We took a long walk around the area of Barra airport, which uses the wide beach as a landing strip, and watched the small plane take off. Found a bench for a picnic lunch before heading to the ferry for our next stay on South Uist. More dolphins sighted from the ferry - this time bottlenose dolphins.
