Ready for Takeoff

We visited Nga Manu Nature Reserve in Waikanae on our way home and was stunned to find Pukeko birds (who are normally shy) running right up to us with the ducks, for food.

@myhrhelper the Pukeko is native to New Zealand which is why you probably haven't seen it :-)
