Soooo excited that a third white Kiwi has been born at Pakaha Mt Bruce reserve. I photographed it while it was on show during its feeding then put it in some nearby ground to make it more natural looking and used a bit of creative blur.
@judithdeacon They are very very rare, a male and female at this reserve both carry the gene and so far they have had 3 offspring that have the white feathers, the only ones in captivity. There are known to be some in the wild on one island where the mum and dad came from. :-)
