A few of us have discovered the Kingfisher Tree at Pauatahanui Inlet where you are rewarded with great pics after some patience! Very overcast so had to use a higher ISO than would have liked, but I like this pic of the two of them.
This is amazing! The only views I ever see of kingfishers is when they flash past at lighting speed and disappear into the trees. They are iridescent blue, and I'd love to see one close-up.
