double exposure by hjbenson

double exposure

One of techniques suggested in the seminar last Sunday was that of double exposure (which I had done back in film days). Take the same picture one out of focus and one in focus and layer it on top of the other to see your effect. Upper left is in focus, upper left slightly out of focus (I should have used a tripod), lower left initial layering using pse8, lower right trying to match them up before layering.
It was an interesting experiment, one that I will try again and again until I am satisfied with the results and add to my repertoire.
The outcome is beautiful!

I love playing with all of these techniques. I am so inspired when I see what other people do. I might have to try something like this next weekend! Great photos.

Very creative way to get a 3-D effect. Really like it and looks like something I would like to try. Nice work.
