WOW this is beautiful. I need to get out more and take flower shots. I dont think I have really tried:( Thanks for the inspiration. I might try tomorrow :D
@cscecil Thank you Carolyn @bilky Thank you Bilky @angievega Thank you An-G
It is easy to photograph when Nature provides you with beautiful flowers and a gorgeous day. It was on 365 I learned how to get the focus I used.
@kaylaferguson Thank you Kayla, I appreciate the comment @miata2u Thank you Peggy, I have liked the focus and the framing that you and others have done on flowers, so I tried to emulate it.
This is lovely. I like the way you place the flower and you really got the colors just right. I see you shot at 200 mm. What is a psuedo macro technique?
@top2042 Thank you for your comment @lislee75 Thank you Lisa, with digital it is a lot easier then it was with film :) @kirsty Thank you Kristy, 365 has helped me improve my eye and technique
@wac Thank you Wendy, 365 has helped me see where to place the whole image better. The pseudo-macro technique is one that I picked up from a discussion on here "Pretend Macro Shots - 20 March 2011" started by Wolfe. The following quote is in answer to a question poised. "Wolfe ... I just used my 55-250mm lens and stood at the minimum focal distance (1.5meters) and zoomed in to 250mm ..."
I have practiced the technique and this is a result.
@scooter Thank you Scooter, it is such a pretty day out there.
@bilky Thank you Bilky
@angievega Thank you An-G
