With my 35 mm cameras, I had a remote shutter cable; but since I went digital 10 years ago I never had one for my DSLRs. I finally got one and this photo, completely sooc, is getting used to it so I can take photos slower than 1/20 of a sec.

yay for remote shutter cables! Such a life changer they are! I bought a wireless one last week but was sorely disappointed to learn that it's not compatible with my camera model. (Wish the sales guy had known that at the time!)
Cool! I love the Toy Story characters mixed in with Precious Moments. :) I have a similar cable release for one of my Holgas - I really like it for long exposures.
@pwallis Thank you Paula, after I am comfortable with this I will get a wireless - thanks for the heads up ot make sure it is compatible @beautifulthing Thank you Shelly, "Toy Story" was one of the films I use in the graduate course I taught on Computer Graphics @scooter Thank you Scooter, in looking at other people's Exif info on 365, I figured it was an accessory that I could use
I thought about buying one for my Sony, then pulled the old one out that I had for my 35mm Minolta camera. It worked so that saved me some bucks. You'll love it though. Let's you be more creative in what you can do, especially with longer exposures.
@kerristephens Thank you Kerri, we love our precious moments :) @vernabeth Thank you Beth, I all ready had the tripod and the remote was not that expensive, I should have bought it months ago :)
